My sweet Zoe, today is your first birthday, and I can’t believe it came so quickly. It seems like just yesterday I was giving birth to you. I still remember when they brought you to me; I couldn’t stop crying. You were so tiny and gorgeous and cuddly, and you are still all of these things! You have learned so much, and everyday you grow into an even more beautiful girl. I prayed for a daughter, but I am still in awe everyday that I get to be your mommy, because you are more amazing than I ever could have dreamed.
This was a big year for us, Zo. We sold our house, moved across the country, found a new church, got rid of our dog π Everything changed. I hope that in the coming years you come to love your new home and dog-less life. Lol. I pray that we are close as a family and as a mother and daughter. I’m going to try my very best to be a good mom. You have made this first year of momming pretty easy, but wish me luck anyway. lol.
